State Bank of India Recruitment 2026 – 116 Posts | Apply Online

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 116 Assistant Vice President (AVP), Deputy Manager (IS Audit) and Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant – Internal Audit) posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official SBI recruitment portal on or before 15 March 2026.

1️⃣ Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) – Contractual

• No. of Posts: 12
• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years
• Salary: ₹50.00 Lakhs per annum (CTC)

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Software Engineering or equivalent with minimum 50% marks
  OR
• BCA / MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks
• Degree must be recognized by Government of India / Regulatory Bodies

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years experience in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy
• At least 3 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit

2️⃣ Deputy Manager (IS Audit) – Regular

• No. of Posts: 43
• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years
• Salary Scale: ₹64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960 (MMGS-II)

Educational Qualification:

• Same as AVP (IS Audit) – 50% marks required in relevant IT discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy
• At least 2 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit

3️⃣ Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant – Internal Audit) – Regular

• No. of Posts: 63
• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years
• Salary Scale: ₹64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960 (MMGS-II)

Educational Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with active membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
• Experience in Statutory / Internal / Concurrent Audit of Banks
• Must have worked with a CA firm engaged in bank audits

Age Relaxation

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stages:

Stage 1: Shortlisting

• Meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee interview call.
• SBI’s Shortlisting Committee will decide parameters.
• Bank’s decision will be final.

Stage 2: Interview

• Interview carries 100 marks
• Qualifying marks decided by SBI

Stage 3: CTC Negotiation (Only for AVP Post)

• Negotiation will be done at the time of interview.

Merit List:

• Based on Interview marks only
• In case of tie → Older candidate ranked higher

Eligibility Criteria (As on 26.02.2026)

Candidates must:

• Have retired from SBI at the age of 60 years (Superannuation).
• Have retired as MMGS-II / MMGS-III / SMGS-IV.
• Not have taken voluntary retirement before superannuation (except specific eligible cases mentioned in notification).
• Maximum age should not exceed 63 years as on 26 February 2026.
• Engagement allowed up to maximum age of 65 years (subject to performance).
• Have clean service record with no major penalties in last 5 years.
• No pending CBI or legal cases.
• Be medically fit.

Preference will be given to officers who have previously worked in CMPOC and have strong knowledge of systems and procedures.

Salary (Monthly Fixed Remuneration)

• Salary is lumpsum and independent of pension.
• No PF, Bonus, Gratuity, or other benefits.
• Income Tax/TDS applicable as per rules.

Period of Engagement

• Minimum: 1 Year
• Extendable up to 3 Years or till 65 years of age (whichever earlier)
• Performance review conducted quarterly

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Shortlisting
2. Interaction (Interview – 100 Marks)

• Final merit list will be prepared based on interview marks.
• In case of tie, older candidate will rank higher.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview.

Support Officer will handle:

• CRM Helpdesk & ticket generation
• Follow-up with Government departments for VDMS & LOC
• Customer grievance redressal
• Follow-up for CMP service charges recovery
• Coordination with branches & agencies
