Tocklai Tea Research Institute (TTRI), Tea Research Association, Jorhat, Assam has released an official notification for the recruitment of 03 Research Fellow posts under the Rainforest Alliance, New York sponsored project titled “Sustainable tea pest management in Assam: An IPM taskforce initiative.” Eligible and interested candidates are invited to appear for the Walk-in Interview.

1. Research Fellow (Zoology/Entomology)

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc in Zoology / Entomology

Desirable Qualification & Experience

• Experience in field experiments
• Knowledge of pesticide and biopesticide testing
• Report writing & field documentation skills
• Ability to speak and write Assamese

Monthly Fellowship

• Rs. 25,000/- (Fixed)

Job Responsibility

• Conduct field experiments
• Coordinate with tea garden personnel
• Implement treatments in field conditions
• Regular pest & disease monitoring
• Data collection and documentation
• Assist in preparation of project reports

Work Location

2. Research Fellow (Chemistry/Soil Science)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc in Chemistry / Soil Science

Desirable Qualification & Experience

• Knowledge of tea soil
• Experience in soil physical, chemical & biological analysis
• Report preparation and result interpretation

Monthly Fellowship

• Rs. 25,000/- (Fixed)

Job Responsibility

• Conduct field experiments
• Collect soil samples from trial fields
• Sample processing and analysis
• Assist in report preparation

Project Duration

• 1 Year

1. Posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
2. Walk-in interview will be held on 04 December 2025 at 10 AM.
3. Candidates must bring the filled application form and self-attested photocopies of:

4. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
