Eligibility Criteria for DC Jorhat Gaon Pradhan Recruitment

Age Limit	Nationality
The candidates must not be less than 30 years and not more than 65 years of age as on 16/06/2025.	Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/ she seeks appointment.
Property	Children
Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.	Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/ multiple partner
Government Employee	Political Party
The candidate should not be a government employee.	The candidate should not be a member of any political party.

How to Apply for DC Jorhat Gaon Pradhan Recruitment 2025

Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application in the Assam Gazette Standard form of application within stipulated date. Candidates need to submit their filled in application at the office of the District Commissioner, Jorhat.

The application must be submitted along with the following documents :

• Voter Id Card/ Aadhaar Card
• 2 passport sized photograph.
• Permanent Resident-ship Certificate.
• Copies of all educational certificates, Mark sheets, Admit Card of HSLC/ Age proof certificate.
• Govt. dues and Bakijai clearance certificate.
• Documents relating to land property in his/ her name.
• The Applicant should furnish an affidavit that he/ she has not more than 2(two) living children from a Single or multiple partners. etc.
