NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, is inviting applications from energetic and talented young professionals for the recruitment of Assistant Chemist Trainees. The company aims to achieve 149 GW capacity by 2032 and is looking for qualified candidates to join its workforce.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Full-time regular M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
- SC, ST and PwBD candidates need only passing marks.
- Final year/semester students expecting their results by 31st July 2026 are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 27 Years

Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of:
₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 (E0 Grade)
In addition to basic pay, candidates will receive:

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will have to appear for an All India Online Selection Test consisting of:
- Subject Knowledge Test
- Executive Aptitude Test
Candidates must qualify separately in both parts.
Shortlisting for document verification and further selection process will be based on merit and the number of vacancies.
Training and Service Bond
- Selected candidates will undergo one year training at various NTPC locations.
- Final posting will be decided after successful completion of training.
- Candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories must execute a Service Bond of ₹2,50,000.
- SC, ST and PwBD candidates must execute a Service Bond of ₹1,25,000.
- Bond period: Minimum 3 years of service after successful completion of training.
