Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary in the following pay band:
- Pay Band-2: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-
- Grade Pay: Rs. 6,200/-
- Other admissible allowances will also be provided as per government rules.
Age Limit
The candidate should fulfil the following age criteria as on 1st January 2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years
- PwBD candidates: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen candidates: 2 years
The age will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC Admit Card or HSLC Pass Certificate issued by a recognised Central or State Board.
Educational Qualification
For direct appointment to the post of Veterinary Field Assistant, a candidate should have passed the full-time HSSLC (Class 12) examination in the Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects from a recognised Board or Council.
PwBD Eligibility
Candidates belonging to the PwBD category must be eligible for reservation under the PwBD category and should possess a disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
Caste Certificate
Candidates seeking reservation under SC, ST, OBC or MOBC categories must possess a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
