The pay scale for SEBI Grade A Officers is:
₹62,500 – 3600 (4) – 76,900 – 4050 (7) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4050 (4) – 1,21,450 – 4650 (1) – 1,26,100 [17 years]

Eligibility Criteria of SEBI Recruitment 2025

Age Limit

Candidate must not have exceeded 30 years as on 30th September 2025.
Candidate must have been born on or after 1st October 1995.
Age Relaxation: As per government rules.

Educational Qualification (Stream-wise)

Stream	Essential Qualification
General	Master’s Degree / PG Diploma (2 years) in any discipline OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law / Engineering OR CA / CFA / CS / Cost Accountant
Legal	Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: 2 years’ experience as Advocate or in a Law Firm.
Information Technology	B.E./B.Tech. in any branch OR Bachelor’s in any discipline with PG qualification (2 years) in Computer Science / IT / Computer Application.
Engineering (Civil)	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Desirable: Experience in construction, maintenance, structural design, or project management (PERT/CPM).
Engineering (Electrical)	Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Desirable: Experience in electrical systems, maintenance, or project administration.
Research	Master’s / PG Diploma (2 years) in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, AI/ML, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
Official Language	Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English at Bachelor’s level OR Master’s in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor’s level.
