State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released multiple employment notifications for the recruitment of 5734 posts including Sub Inspector (AB & UB), Assistant Jailor, Constable (AB & UB), Fireman, Forest Guard, Driver, Safai Karmachari, Grade IV and other posts under Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, Fire & Emergency Services, DGCD & CGHG, Forest Department and Prison Department.

The online application last date has been extended and candidates can now apply till 22 February 2026. Applicants who have already applied will also get a 5-day edit window to correct any mistakes.

Nationality

• Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam
• SC / ST / OBC / MOBC candidates are exempted from submitting PRC at final stage
