About KGBV Tinsukia Recruitment

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV)-III of Tinsukia district against vacant teaching positions. The engagement will be purely contractual for a period of 11 months.

Since KGBV is a residential school, selected candidates will have to reside in the school or hostel campus except during vacations.

Vacancy Details

1. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Political Science)

No. of Posts: 1

Educational Qualification

Master Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Preference

Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.

In case of non-availability of HS TET qualified candidates:

Candidates having Master Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. may also apply.

2. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Science)

No. of Posts: 1

Educational Qualification

Master Degree having Royal B.Sc with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Preference

Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.

In case of non-availability of HS TET qualified candidates:

Candidates having Master Degree with Royal B.Sc and B.Ed. may also apply.

3. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Mathematics)

No. of Posts: 1

Educational Qualification

Master Degree having Mathematics as a subject in degree level with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Higher Secondary TET qualified.

Preference

Experience in teaching at UP/HS/HSS level.

In case of non-availability of HS TET qualified candidates:

Candidates having Master Degree with Mathematics and B.Ed. may also apply.

Salary Details

Category	Salary
HS TET Qualified Candidates	Rs. 22,000/- per month
Non-TET Candidates	Rs. 20,000/- per month

Reservation

All posts are reserved for female candidates.
All posts are reserved for Assamese medium candidates.

Age Limit

Candidates must be below 45 years of age as on 01 January 2026.

Important Conditions

Engagement will be purely temporary on contractual basis.
Selected candidates will have to execute an agreement.
Non-TET selected candidates must qualify Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET examinations.
