Educational Qualification
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
Essential Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Science or relevant subject with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification
- 6–12 months research experience in field surveys/conservation genetics.
- Experience in fish collection, water & eDNA sampling.
- Knowledge of DNA extraction, PCR, fish taxonomy, ecology, invasive species etc.
- Knowledge of data entry and documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively in Northeast India.
Technical Assistant
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology/Life Sciences/Wildlife Sciences with minimum 50% marks.
Preferred Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Zoology/Life Sciences/Wildlife Science with minimum 60% marks.
- Experience in field survey, DNA extraction, lab work, MS Office, and data entry.
