The Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society has released an official notification inviting applications from qualified Indian citizens for multiple contractual positions under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded Assam Sustainable Wetland and Integrated Fisheries Transformation (SWIFT) project.

ARIAS Society Vacancy Details 2025

1. Hydrology Specialist

• No. of Posts: 01
• Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Hydrology, Water Resources, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in hydrological studies and water resources assessment, preferably in wetland or watershed management. Experience with ADB or multilateral projects will be an advantage.
• Annual Remuneration: ₹6.60 – ₹10.80 Lakhs

2. Gender Specialist

• No. of Posts: 01
• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in gender mainstreaming for donor-funded projects such as ADB or World Bank, preferably in rural areas. Fluency in English and local language is mandatory.
• Annual Remuneration: ₹6.60 – ₹10.80 Lakhs

3. Livelihood Coordinator

• No. of Posts: 05
• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Livelihoods, Rural Development, Agribusiness, or Social Sciences.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in livelihood promotion, including skills training, microfinance, income generation, and cooperative formation. Prior experience in ADB or World Bank projects preferred.
• Annual Remuneration: ₹6.60 – ₹10.80 Lakhs
