CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 – Revised Guidelines & Extended Deadline

The Government of Assam has launched the CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 under the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department to support PhD scholars in the state. This scheme provides one-time financial assistance of ₹25,000 to eligible research scholars and ₹40,000 for Divyang (differently-abled) research scholars.


 

This initiative aims to encourage academic research, innovation, and higher education by extending financial support to scholars studying in state and central universities within Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

  • Be a permanent resident of Assam.
  • Be enrolled as a Full-time Research Scholar (PhD) in a state or central university in Assam.
  • Have taken admission on or after 1st April 2021.
  • Submit required documents such as PhD admission proof, residency certificate, income certificate, and (if applicable) Divyang certificate.

Selection Process

  1. Submit the online application through the official DIDS portal.
  2. Verification by the applicant’s institution (Registrar/Principal/VC).
  3. Final scrutiny by the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training.
  4. Beneficiary list published.
  5. Funds transferred directly via DBT.
