Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Refineries Division, has released multiple employment notifications for 2756 Technician & Trade Apprentice vacancies across various refineries in India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 28 November to 18 December 2025.

Candidates from Assam should note that 336 apprentice posts are available across Guwahati, Digboi and Bongaigaon Refineries.

Age Limit (as on 30-11-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years

• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years
• PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years

Educational Qualification

Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)

• 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)

Trade Apprentice (Fitter)

• Matric + ITI (Fitter Trade), minimum 2 years

Trade Apprentice (Boiler)

• 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)

Technician Apprentice (Chemical)

• 3 years Diploma in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)

• 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Technician Apprentice (Electrical)

• 3 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation)

• 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation

Trade Apprentice – Secretarial Assistant

• 3 years BA/BSc/BCom

Trade Apprentice – Accountant

• 3 years B.Com

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher)

• Class 12 passed

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder)
