NABARD Development Assistant Vacancy Details

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 162 Development Assistant and Development Assistant (Hindi) posts across various states of India. Pay Scale & Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package as per NABARD norms.

• Basic Pay: ₹23,100/- per month (including two advance increments)
• Pay Scale:

Eligibility Criteria for NABARD Development Assistant Recruitment

Citizenship

• Candidate must be a citizen of India

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

Candidates born between 02 January 1991 and 01 January 2005 (both inclusive) are eligible.

Educational Qualification

Development Assistant

1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
   (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates)
2. Degree must be from a recognized University/Institution
3. Knowledge of word processing on PC

Development Assistant (Hindi)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in English/Hindi medium with Hindi & English as compulsory/elective subjects
   OR
   Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi & English as main subjects
2. Minimum 50% marks (Pass class for reserved categories)
3. Ability to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa
4. Knowledge of word processing on PC

Official Language Proficiency

• Candidates applying for a particular State must be proficient in the official language of that State
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the language
