The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 117 academic and library posts under direct recruitment.

The appointments will be made at NCERT, New Delhi and its constituent units located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, and Shillong. Eligible candidates may apply online.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Professor

Eligibility (A or B):

Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline
Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
Research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations
10 years of teaching/research experience at University/National level
Experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars

Outstanding professional with Ph.D.
10 years’ professional experience with significant contribution to the discipline

Associate Professor

Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
8 years of teaching/research experience
Minimum 7 research publications
Research score of 75 as per UGC norms

Assistant Professor

Eligibility (A or B):

Master’s degree with 55% marks
Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016)
NET exemption applicable for eligible Ph.D. holders as per UGC rules
