OIL India Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and experience requirements as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Personal Assessment.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science stream from a Government-recognized Board or University and possess either of the following:
Option 1:
- Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) of minimum 3 years’ course duration from a Government-recognized Institute/Medical College.
OR
Option 2:
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) of minimum 2 years’ course duration from a Government-recognized Institute/Medical College; and
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
OIL India Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years.
The maximum age limit is:
- General: 40 years
- OBC (NCL): 43 years
Age relaxation for other eligible categories will be applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.
OIL India Salary
The selected candidates will receive the following contractual emoluments:
Fixed Emolument: ₹21,450 per month based on attendance, including paid leave and holidays, if any.
Variable Emolument: ₹825 per day for each working day.
The total contractual emolument will consist of both fixed and variable components as applicable.

Job Responsibilities
The selected Contractual Paramedical Laboratory Technician may be required to perform the following duties:
- Collect blood, urine, sputum, stool and other clinical specimens from patients.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology and Clinical Pathology.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure calibration of equipment as per standard protocols.
- Perform duties during health camps, emergency services and special programmes.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Candidates should have:
- Proficiency in safely and accurately collecting blood and other clinical samples.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality control and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and staff.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and laboratory information systems.

Candidates must bring the following documents in original along with a set of self-attested photocopies:
- Filled-in Personal Bio-Data Form.
- One recent 3 cm × 3 cm coloured passport-size photograph.
- Valid photo identity proof.
- Valid address proof issued by a competent Government authority.
- Class 10 certificate containing the date of birth.
- Class 10 admit card, marksheet and pass certificate.
- All semester/year marksheets of the essential qualification.
- Final marksheet and pass certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Experience certificate, wherever applicable.
- Valid caste certificate, if applicable.
- Valid OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate, if applicable.
- Valid Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates, if applicable.
- Valid disability certificate, if applicable.
- Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable.
- No-Objection Certificate from the present employer, if applicable.
The Class 10 admit card, pass certificate or marksheet issued by the concerned Government-recognized education board will be accepted as valid proof of date of birth.
