Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and India’s second-largest upstream Oil & Gas Company, has released a notification for the engagement of 03 contractual personnel at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam. The engagement is purely temporary and is open only to candidates domiciled in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Educational Qualification

1. Contractual Mechanical Supervisor

Class 10 pass from a Government recognized board.
Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.

2. Contractual Instrumentation Technician

Class 10 pass.
Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

3. Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic

Class 10 pass.
Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

Age Limit

Mechanical Supervisor

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age (General): 45 Years

Instrumentation Technician

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age (General): 30 Years

Assistant Diesel Mechanic

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Salary

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Personal Assessment carrying 100 marks. The qualifying mark is 50 marks. Final selection will be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the assessment.

Contract Period

Initial engagement will be for 6 months.
It may be extended in phases based on organizational requirements and performance.
Maximum contractual period is 24 months.
