Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Qualified Gate in Civil Engineering in the year 2024,2025 or 2026.

- Maximum Age: 34 years

- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD:
- 15 years (SC/ST)
- 13 years (OBC)

Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of Two Stages:
Stage 1: Eligibility Test
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Tests General Awareness, Analytical Ability, Aptitude & Logical Ability
Stage 2: Specific Written Test
- Only candidates qualifying Stage 1 can appear.
Final Merit List will be prepared based on performance.
Tie-breaking criteria:
- Chronological order of Date of Birth
- Alphabetical order of first name (as per 10th certificate)

Placement & Posting
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. NHIDCL operates across:
- State Group-1: Assam, Manipur & Nagaland
- State Group-2: Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya & Mizoram
- State Group-3: Tripura, Sikkim, West Bengal (North Bengal) & Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- State Group-4: Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand & Himachal Pradesh.
Medical Fitness & Probation
- Candidates must pass medical examination from State/Central Govt. Hospital.
- Probation Period: 2 years (extendable up to 2 additional years).
- Mandatory training may be required.
Service Bond
Selected candidates must furnish a Non-transferable Service Bond of ₹5 Lakhs valid for 2 years on ₹100 Non-Judicial Stamp Paper.
