Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
Option 1
- MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc & AH degree recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI.
Option 2
- BDS or B.V.Sc degree with 1 year experience in the relevant field.
Option 3
- 1st Class Master’s Degree in Microbiology / Virology / Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Option 4
- 2nd Class MSc + PhD in Microbiology / Virology / Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualifications
- MD in related subject
- Post-doctoral research or training in relevant fields
- PhD in related subject
- Knowledge of computer applications or data management tools
- Minimum 2 years research / teaching experience
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 13 March 2026)
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.
Candidates with at least 2 years experience in VRDL or virology/microbiology projects may get up to 5 years relaxation.
