Important Note:
- Candidates with ITI in Diesel Mechanic Trade are not eligible for the Mechanical discipline.
- OBC candidates without a valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate will be treated as General Category candidates.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed the relevant Engineering Diploma or ITI examination.
- Passed the qualifying examination within the last five years from the date of the Walk-in-Interaction.
- Secured minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
Relaxation
A 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks is available for candidates belonging to:
- SC
- ST(P)
- ST(H)
- OBC-NCL
Monthly Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive stipend as per the Apprenticeship Rules (Amended 2019).

Selection Process
Selection will be made strictly on the basis of:
- Percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Verification of original documents.
- Fulfilment of all eligibility conditions.
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, the decision of Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited Management will be final.
Duration of Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship training period will be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act and Apprenticeship Rules, as amended from time to time.
