Eligibility Criteria for Office Peon
- The candidates must be a citizen of India.
- The candidates must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2025. Relaxation will be given as per Govt. Rules.
- The candidates must have passed Class VIII but must not have passed H.S.
- The candidate must have registered his/her name in any of the Employment Exchange in Assam.

- Intending candidates shall submit their applications to The Office of the District & Sessions Judge-cum- Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hojai, District Judicial Court complex, Srimanta Sankardev Nagar, Hojai, Assam, Pin- 782442 either personally or through post.
- The submitted applications must be accompanied by:
- (i) Three recent colour passport size photographs of the applicant bearing signature of the candidate
- (ii) Age certificate
- (iii) Self-attested copies of all the testimonials in support of their educational qualification, experience and caste
- (iv) Employment exchange registration cards
- (v) Email ID and Contact number of the applicant.
- The candidates who are already in service must apply through proper channel.
- The candidate must write “Application for the post of (name of the post for which the candidate would applied for)” on the top of the envelope accompanying the application.
Selection Procedure
The candidates appearing for the post of Office Peon will have to appear for Viva-Voce consisting of 50 marks.
The last date of receipt of duly filled up applications is 17.09.2025. No applications shall be accepted nor any postal delay be considered after the last date.
