Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 14 Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS), and Senior Accounts Officer vacancies through direct recruitment.

Post-wise Details

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Vacancies: UR – 1, OBC (NCL) – 1, EWS – 1, SC – 1 (PwBD: 1 adjustable by category)
Qualification: 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
- Typing speed: 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi) on computer (10,500/9,000 KDPH).
Age Limit: 18–27 years.
- Age Relaxation:
  - +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC, +10 years for PwBD (UR), +13 years PwBD (OBC), +15 years PwBD (SC/ST).
  - +5 years for Ex-Servicemen, +5 years for departmental candidates (Group A/B), and up to 40/45 years for Group C employees.

2. Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS)

Vacancies: UR – 4, OBC (NCL) – 3, SC – 2.
Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience in hydrographic/land survey, OR
- Surveyor Recorder (SR) I/II from Indian Navy with 7 years’ experience in hydrography or navigation.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer programming.
Age Limit: Up to 30 years (relaxations as per rules).

3. Senior Accounts Officer

Vacancies: UR – 1.
Qualification:
- Degree from a recognized university, AND
- CA (Final)/ICWA (Final)/SAS Commercial (Indian Audit & Accounts Department) qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in commercial accounts (Central/State Govt/Semi-Govt/reputed organization).
Age Limit: Up to 35 years (relaxations as per rules).
