Educational Qualification

1. Deputy Chief Chemist (CHEM-01)

• Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry (minimum 2 years duration) with at least 60% marks.
• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at graduation level.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

2. Deputy Chief Geologist (GEO-02)

• Postgraduate Degree in Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks.
• Mathematics must have been studied at graduation level.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience.

3. Deputy Chief Engineer (Reservoir) (RES-03)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering with minimum 65% marks and 9 years experience.

OR

• Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Petroleum Technology with minimum 60% marks along with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 9 years relevant experience.

4. Deputy Chief Geophysicist (GEOP-04)

• Postgraduate Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
• Minimum 9 years relevant experience.

5. Deputy Chief Engineer (Safety & Environment) (S&E-05)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering/Fire Engineering with minimum 65% marks.

6. Economist (ECO-06)

Experience Requirement:

• Grade D: Minimum 9 years.
• Grade E: Minimum 13 years.
• Grade F: Minimum 17 years.

Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as on 28 June 2026.

• OBC (NCL): 3 Years
• SC/ST: 5 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
• PwBD: As per Government rules
• PhD holders in relevant discipline: 3 Years

Salary Details

Approximate Monthly Gross Salary:

• Grade D: Around ₹1.70 Lakh per month
• Grade E/F: Around ₹2.00 Lakh per month
