Eligibility Criteria

Logging Assistant Salary

Logging Assistant Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will assist Logging Operators in activities including:

• Minor repair and maintenance of Logging Units and Logging Tools.
• Preparation of bridle and cable splicing.
• Connecting different tools at workshops and well sites.
• Servicing of logging tools.
• Loading and unloading tools, rig-up accessories and other materials.
• Rig-up and rig-down of logging tools/accessories at the well head.
• Work related to Pressure Control Assembly and Grease Injection System.
• Routine checking of batteries, lubricants, engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure and lights.
• Cleaning of logging equipment after operations.
• Following safety rules and regulations at the well site and workshop.
• Performing other duties assigned by the Logging Operator.

Oil India Limited has announced 2 vacancies for the post of Contractual Electrician.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

• Passed Class 10th from a Government-recognized Board.
• Passed Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
• Possess a valid Electrical Workman’s Permit (Class I & Class II) issued by the Government Electrical Licensing Board.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification electrical job-related work experience in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Public Limited or Private Organizations.

Age Limit

The advertisement provides reservation of the two posts as 1 UR and 1 OBC (NCL).

Electrician Salary

Selected candidates will receive:

• Maintaining daily work records and spare inventory registers.

• Responding to emergencies or GEG trips.
• Performing shift duty in the captive power plant of STF when required.

Oil India Limited Salary Structure 2026

The remuneration structure is the same for both advertised posts:

The contractual emolument includes both fixed and variable components. Candidates should note that the actual total monthly amount may vary according to the number of working days.

Period of Contract

The engagement is purely contractual.

The initial period of engagement will be 6 months.

Depending on departmental requirements, job performance, conduct and physical fitness, the engagement may be extended for three further tenures of 6 months each.

Therefore, the maximum total period of contractual engagement will be 24 months.

Selection Process

Candidates for both posts will be selected through a Walk-in for Personal Assessment.

The assessment will carry a total of 100 marks.

The qualifying/pass mark is 50 marks for all categories.
