The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Guwahati, an Institute of National Importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a CCRAS-sponsored research project.

🎓 Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

• M.S. / M.Pharm. in Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Analysis, or Pharmacognosy from a PCI/AICTE/UGC/NAAC recognized or accredited University/Institute.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Must have cleared GPAT / GATE / CSIR-NET or any national-level entrance test conducted by a Central Government agency.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in natural product isolation and characterization using analytical techniques like NMR, MASS, and other spectrometric/chromatographic techniques.
• Knowledge of natural product-inspired synthesis, molecular modeling, and drug design is preferred.

• Project Title: “Development of Quality Standards of Elsholtzia Species and Assessment of Efficacy in Gastric Inflammatory Conditions (in vitro and in vivo studies)”
• Project Collaboration: NIPER-Guwahati and RARC-Dimapur
• Funding Agency: CCRAS (Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences)
