About Assam CEE 2026
The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-level engineering entrance examination organized for admission into B.Tech courses offered by engineering colleges in Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE 2026

Central Government Employee Quota

Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Must pass 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination in a single sitting with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidates must pass both Theory and Practical examinations individually.
OR
- Candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology from State Council for Technical Education, Assam with required marks.
Qualifying Marks
- General Category: Minimum 45% marks
- Reserved Category: Minimum 40% marks
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Maximum age: No upper age limit
Character Certificate
Candidates must submit a character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
Medical Fitness
Applicants must be physically and mentally fit and submit a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
