Hojai Anganwadi Recruitment 2026
The Women and Child Development Department, Assam has released a recruitment notification for engagement of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers under the Dhanpur ICDS Project, Hojai. Eligible local female candidates residing within the concerned Anganwadi Centre area may submit their applications in offline mode.
Applications will be accepted from 15 June 2026 to 30 June 2026 during office hours.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Anganwadi Worker
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (HSSLC) examination.
Anganwadi Helper
- Must have passed HSLC examination.
Preference: Candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualification will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 44 Years
- Age should be calculated as on 01 May 2026.
Residency Requirement
- Applicants must be local female residents of the respective Anganwadi Centre area.
- Proof of residence issued by the competent authority must be submitted.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be made through:
- Oral Interview only
- Preference will be given according to the prescribed educational qualifications.
- As per government guidelines, reservation provisions will be applicable.
- Eligible candidates will be informed about the interview schedule separately.
