Educational Qualification
- Lower Division Assistant (LDA): H.S. passed from a recognized Board, with proficiency in operation of computer.
- Bench Assistant: H.S. passed from a recognized Board, with proficiency in operation of computer.
Other Eligibility Conditions
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Candidate must have registered their name in the Employment Exchange of Assam, and the valid registration number with date must be mentioned in the application.
- Candidates already in Government service must apply through proper channel along with an NOC from their employer.

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years as on 1 January 2026
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation as per existing Government guidelines.

Selection Process
- Written Examination: Both posts will have the written examination on the same day and at the same time. The date, time and venue will be published in the same newspaper.
- Viva-Voce: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for Viva-Voce. The list will be published on the notice board of the Office of the Foreigners Tribunal No. 9th, Nagaon, Amolapatty.
- Document Verification: Original certificates with all supporting documents will be verified at the time of Viva-Voce, and candidates must submit a set of self-attested photocopies. The decision of the Board is final.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the test.
